Hi, I’m Deepak Paswan.
Web Developer & Technical Writer
I'm a full-stack developer who works mostly with WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce. This site is where I publish tutorials, reviews and free tools for people who build and run websites.

A developer who writes things down
I build websites, and I write about the parts that were harder than they should have been.
I have worked on websites for more than eight years, mostly WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce, with JavaScript, React, Next.js and Laravel alongside them. I care about sites that load fast and keep working, so I also spend time on hosting, caching, Core Web Vitals and the technical side of SEO.
DeepakPaswan.com is where I keep the results: tutorials I would have wanted when I was stuck, reviews of products I might recommend, and small tools I got tired of looking up.
What I Work On
- WordPress and WooCommerce. Themes, custom post types, Gutenberg blocks, Elementor, checkout flows and the performance problems that come with all of them.
- PHP and Laravel. Plugins, REST endpoints and back-end code for sites that outgrow a theme’s functions file.
- JavaScript, React and Next.js. Front-end work, including headless setups where WordPress is only the content source.
- Hosting and performance. Server setup, caching layers, database tuning and reading a Core Web Vitals report without guessing.
- SEO basics. Metadata, structured data, sitemaps and crawl problems, mainly the technical parts that developers control.
I’m not a specialist in everything on that list at the same depth. When I’m less sure about something, the article says so.
Why I Built DeepakPaswan.com
Most answers to web problems are scattered across forum threads, old blog posts and documentation written for a different situation. I wanted one place where the working version is written down: the exact steps, the code, what to check when it fails, and what the fix costs you.
The tools came from the same habit. PDF merging, image compression, DNS lookups and JSON formatting come up all the time, and I wanted them without sign-ups or upload limits that change from site to site.

How I Approach Technical Content
Tutorials start from a specific problem and end with a way to confirm the fix worked. If a step can break something, the warning comes before the step, not after it.
Reviews list what a product does, what it costs, where it falls short and who should skip it. Some product links are affiliate links. When one is, the page says so, and the affiliate disclosure explains how that works. A commission never changes the pros and cons.
Tools do real work. They are not mockups. Each tool page explains what the tool does, what it can’t do, and what happens to your file: uploads are processed temporarily and are never added to the site’s media library.
Corrections are welcome. Software changes and I get things wrong. If something here is outdated or incorrect, email me and I’ll fix it.
