Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

What personal data DeepakPaswan.com collects, why, who sees it, and how you can control it.

This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers DeepakPaswan.com, which is run by Deepak Paswan (“I”, “me”). It describes how the site works today. It is not legal advice.

Who to contact

For anything about your data, email deepak@deepakpaswan.com. I handle these requests myself.

What I collect and why

Accounts and purchases

If you create an account or buy something, the site stores your name, email address and a hashed password. Orders are handled by WooCommerce and store the items you bought, the order status and date, and your download records. Checkout asks for your first name, last name, email and, optionally, a WhatsApp or phone number. Because products are digital, checkout does not ask for a shipping address.

This website does not collect or store full card numbers itself. Payment details are entered into whichever payment method is offered at checkout, and that method has its own privacy policy.

I use this data to create your account, deliver what you bought, show your purchases in My Library, handle support and keep the records orders require.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, the site stores your email address, whether the subscription is pending, confirmed or cancelled, and the dates of those changes. Every email should carry an unsubscribe link. I use the address only for the newsletter.

Contact emails

The Contact page is an email address. When you write to deepak@deepakpaswan.com, I receive your email address and whatever you include, and I keep the conversation as long as it is useful or required.

Tools

Some tools process text or files you submit, for example PDF and image tools. Submitted files and results are kept in a temporary folder only long enough to give you the download, and are deleted when you download them or when the link expires. Download links last 15 minutes, and a cleanup job removes any older leftovers. They are not added to a media library or kept in the database. Tools that work in your browser keep your files on your device.

To limit abuse, the site also uses your IP address for short-lived rate limits on tools. Where the HTML to PDF tool has CAPTCHA turned on, the CAPTCHA provider (Google reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile) receives your IP address and interaction data to check that you are a person. That provider’s own policy applies to that data.

Server logs and security

Like most websites, the web server records technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser, pages requested and time. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses only the cookies it needs to log you in and to run the cart and checkout. The details are in the Cookie Policy.

Third parties

  • Google Fonts. The site loads its fonts from Google, so your browser contacts Google servers when a page loads. Google receives your IP address and browser details.
  • CAPTCHA provider. Only on the HTML to PDF tool, and only when it is enabled (see above).
  • Payment method. Whatever payment method is available at checkout receives the payment details you give it.
  • Hosting. The site runs on a hosting provider, which stores the website files, database and server logs.
  • Links to other sites. Some links, such as affiliate links and links to sellers, take you to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own. See the Affiliate Disclosure.

At the time of writing, the site does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

I do not sell your personal information.

How long I keep data

  • Accounts: until you ask me to delete the account.
  • Orders and download records: as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you.
  • Contact emails: as long as they are useful or required.
  • Tool files: minutes, as described above.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used, or withdraw consent. Email deepak@deepakpaswan.com and I will reply. You can also edit your name, email and password under Account Settings once you are logged in. I may need to confirm who you are first, and I may keep records that the law requires me to keep.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Paid content and downloads are checked on the server against your purchases. No system is perfectly secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is written for developers and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If the site’s data practices change, I will update this page. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
