What this tool does
Add up to 10 images in any mix of JPG and PNG, put them in order, and download one PDF with each image on its own page. It is the general version of the JPG to PDF and PNG to PDF tools, which run the same code.
How to use it
- Choose up to 10 JPG or PNG images. Use Add More for extra images.
- Edit the output file name if you like.
- Press Convert to PDF, then Download PDF File.
How pages are laid out
Pages are A4 portrait. Each image is scaled to fit inside the page, with a small margin of about 20 points, and centred. Wide images are therefore shrunk to the page width and leave white space above and below. There is no choice of page size, orientation or margin.
Details that matter
- JPG files go into the PDF unchanged, so there is no extra loss.
- PNG files are flattened on white and saved as JPEG at quality 90, which removes transparency.
- Other formats (WebP, GIF, HEIC, AVIF) are skipped. Convert them first with the tools in the Image category.
- Size limits: 10 images, and files over 15 MB are skipped silently.
- Orientation: photos that depend on an EXIF rotation tag may appear sideways. Rotate them before adding.
- Output size depends on the images. The tool doesn’t resize or compress, so a PDF made from 10 phone photos can be tens of megabytes.
A practical tip
If you plan to email the PDF, compress the images first. The Image Compressor can bring a photo down to a fraction of its size with little visible change.
Your files are uploaded to the server, kept in a temporary folder and not added to the media library. The download link lasts 15 minutes. Up to 10 requests a minute are allowed.
Can I mix JPG and PNG in one PDF?
Yes, in any order, up to 10 images.
Why were some images left out?
Unsupported formats and files over 15 MB are skipped without a warning.
Can I make landscape pages?
No. Every page is A4 portrait.
Why is the PDF so large?
Images are not resized or compressed. Compress them first if the PDF will be shared.
What happens to transparency in PNG files?
PNG images are flattened onto a white background and stored as JPEG inside the PDF, so transparent areas become white.
