What this tool does
Upload up to 10 PNG images and get one PDF with each image on its own A4 page. The same engine handles JPG files too, so you can mix the two.
How to use it
- Choose up to 10 images. Use Add More for extra images.
- Edit the output file name if you like.
- Press Convert to PDF, then Download PDF File.
What happens to transparency
PNG files can have transparent areas, but this tool does not keep them. Each PNG is flattened onto a white background and stored as a JPEG inside the PDF, and the transparency is lost. For a screenshot or a logo on a white page that looks right. For a graphic meant to sit on a coloured background, it won’t.
Because the image is converted to JPEG at quality 90, there is a small loss of sharpness for flat colours and text, and the file size can be larger than the original PNG for simple graphics.
Page layout
- A4 portrait pages, 595 by 842 points.
- The image is scaled to fit with roughly a 20 point margin and centred, keeping its proportions.
- No options for page size, orientation or margins.
Limits
Only JPG and PNG are supported, up to 10 images and 15 MB each. Larger or unsupported images are skipped without a message. Very large images create large PDFs, so shrink them first with the Image Compressor if needed.
Files are processed temporarily on the server and aren’t added to the media library, and the download expires after 15 minutes. Up to 10 requests a minute are allowed. For JPG sources there is a JPG to PDF page with the same behaviour.
Will transparent PNGs stay transparent?
No. They are placed on a white background.
Is the quality reduced?
PNG images are re-encoded as JPEG at quality 90 inside the PDF, so there is a slight loss, mostly noticeable on sharp text and flat colours.
How many images can I add?
Up to 10 per PDF.
Can I use WebP files?
Not with this tool. Convert them to PNG or JPG first.
Can I combine PNG and JPG files in one PDF?
Yes. The same engine handles both formats, so you can mix them in one run.
